Foods that lower High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is very quiet, silent and there are no obvious symptoms. All of a sudden you feel the impact.

High blood pressure can cause many syndromes such as, cardiac disease, cerebral vascular disease and renal failure, also known as kidney failure. Fortunately, there are some simple ways to deal with high blood pressure and reduce it.

To reduce high blood pressure:

  1. Reduce the amount of salt you consume daily.
  2. Increase the amount of fiber you consume and avoid cholesterol rich ingredients.
  3. Drink a glass of room-temperature water right after waking up in the morning and before bed in the night.
  4. Take vegetable juice that contains a lot of vitamin and potassium regularly.
  5. Try to avoid stress.
  6. Quit smoking.

These are just a few, but very important, measures you can take to lower and prevent a high blood pressure.

There is another health factor to take in to consideration, cholesterol and triglyceride.

Cholesterol is a type of fat produced in our liver, but we can also get it from the food we eat. Cholesterol also comes from animal sources, like meat, poultry and full-fat dairy products. Although our body needs some cholesterol to help our brain, skin, and other organs grow, too much of it can be harmful to our health. Too much cholesterol can clog the blood vessels in our body. This also can lead to higher blood pressure and heart problems.

Triglycerides are the most common form of fat stored by our body. Triglycerides are produced by our body, but can also come from the food we eat.

Luckily there are foods, which can reduce cholesterol levels and triglyceride levels.

Foods that can reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels:

  • Green tea, wheat tea.
  • Bluefish, sardine, mackerel, bonito and yellowtail, because they contain omega-3 fatty acids like DHA and EPA.
  • Seaweeds, fermented foods, vinegary foods, black vinegar is the most suitable vinegar.
  • Mushrooms, vegetables and all types of onions.

Those are the ingredients you should try and include more in your everyday diet.
